Mike Alper comes to Centennial Advisers with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After a year and a half in a sales-oriented position within the entertainment industry, Mike earned an MBA from Chapman University. After Chapman, Mike held a product management position at Oakley that was both analytical and sales oriented for a two-and-a-half-year period. While at Oakley, Mike worked on complex side projects for an Orange County real estate investment firm and decided to pursue a full-time career in the Real Estate business.
His focus is on multifamily investment properties within the Orange County region. Focusing on apartment buildings between 5 and 200 units within this region allows Mike to provide clients with the most current market information and design and implement strategies that deliver the best solutions for investors. Mike often utilizes a detailed understanding of the 1031 exchange process to help clients meet their specific short and long-term goals. Mike has helped clients re-position their multifamily portfolios into newer buildings in better locations – providing assets that are properly leveraged, easier to manage and include enhanced long-term appreciation potential.
In his free time, Mike enjoys reading, going to the gym, surfing and spending time outdoors. He has been a resident of Newport Beach for the past five years.
