Douglas Shea joined the firm Centennial Advisers as a Regional Director to lead the Commercial division. Doug has over 30 years’ experience in the business from Investment sales of multi-tenant and Single Tenant NNN’s to the leasing and sales, and Self-Storage of all commercial properties in Southern California. Doug (Long Beach State ’84) has cumulative sales of over $300,000,000.00 during his career. Current extracurricular activities include being on the Board of Directors of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, supporter of Long Beach State Athletics and currently a volunteer on the committee for the Congressional Cup of Long Beach, through the Long Beach Yacht Club. Doug’s favorite transactions include saving his clients large amounts of money by helping complete 1031 Exchanges across the country. The 1031 process allows investors to not pay the taxes currently and defer them while increasing their net worth.
He is currently working on a DaVita Renal Care a Starbucks and a franchise pizza restaurant in the Dearborn Michigan area. “I love the fact that we can defer the taxes for clients while also helping them increase their normal depreciation through Cost Segregation” say’s Doug.
