Chris Bucka comes to Centennial Advisers with an undergraduate degree in Finance from Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley. Having spent 15 years in the commercial banking world with an emphasis on Commercial Real Estate, Chris earned his MBA from Pepperdine University with honors. He immediately left the banking industry and began a consulting business focused on financing for his commercial real estate clients. The practice evolved, and Chris gained his real estate license in early 2019.
His focus is on multifamily investment properties within the San Pedro Bay region. Chris has developed an expertise in Opportunity Zones and is even the manager of an OZ fund. With a focus on apartment buildings between 5 and 100 units within this region, Chris provides clients with the most current market information, and can design and implement strategies that help investors capitalize within Opportunity Zones. Chris utilizes his detailed understanding of the OZ legislation to help clients meet their specific short and long-term goals. Chris has helped investors re-position their multifamily assets so that they are that are properly leveraged, easier to manage and include enhanced long-term appreciation potential.
Outside the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, going to the beach, and gardening. He is the current President of the Santa Clara University Alumni Association’s LA Chapter, and is the President of the Long Beach Cactus Club. A third generation Southern Californian, Chris has lived in Long Beach for the last 8 years.
