Juanita is a recent graduate from California State University, Long Beach where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and a minor in Public Relations.
Juanita moved from her home country, Colombia, to the U.S. with her sister at the beginning of 2017. She dedicated her time in the states to furthering her education and looking for new opportunities. She started her academic journey by completing an entertainment studies certificate at UCLA Extension, which allowed her to develop projects such as her first short film.
The certificate program at UCLA Extension pushed her to challenge herself and step into the unknown. Realizing that Los Angeles had much to offer, she started to pursue her bachelor’s degree at Santa Monica College and later transferred to CSULB.
While pursuing her degree, Juanita participated in different school societies, such as the Scholars program at SMC and the Honors Program at CSULB. While in the honors program, she completed an undergraduate thesis related to the marketing field.
Juanita has held different leadership positions, such as being a workshop leader for the Sustainable Works workshop at SMC as well as holding the position of President for the Musical Meditation Club at CSULB.
Her role at Centennial Adviser’s focuses on putting together the marketing packages agents need to put their best foot forward with their clients. She also makes sure deals are getting the exposure they deserve.
During her free time, Juanita enjoys playing the ukulele, deepening her yoga practice and reading Vedic philosophy.
